Perdomo 2 – Natural
Posted By ironmeden on May 17, 2009
Watching the Twins this year is like watching someone pull off nail from their hand. The excitement and anticipation of the game is great, but when it comes to the end, its quite painful to watch. I just watched the Twins dominate 3 games against the hated Yankees but they could not finish them off. They have not been able to execute at the end of the games when they needed to. Where is the bullpen when you need them.
Perdomo 2 – Natural
Wrapper: Natural
Filler: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
The cigar has a darker look to it then I would expect from a Natural wrapper. There are a few bumps below the wrapper but nothing that is distracting. There are some long veins on the cigar, but whats weird is that they are delegated to the back of the cigar, whereas the front is mostly free of veins. When I say the back of the cigar what I mean how the bands our positioned on the cigar.
There are 2 bands, a red band on top with gold lettering with the Perdomo 2 name. The band below is black and gold with the description ‘Limited Edition 2008′
I punched the head of the cigar and lit it with my Colibri Triple flame lighter. My first few puffs were slightly bitter. It has a razor sharp burn at the very start.
The tastes early were wood with cedar hints.
1/4 the cigar is pretty much the same. At the start the cigar is medium, but even this far in the cigar seemed to get a little more fuller flavor with a woody flavor. There was a slight burning problem at this point in the cigar.
At the halfway point the cigar took on a coffee flavor.
The 3/4 mark the cigar really didn’t change. The coffee flavor continued all the way to the end of the cigar.
There really wasn’t much to write about this cigar. It was a good cigar, but it didn’t blow me away at all. I give this cigar a 3.5 out of 5.
